What You Will Be Doing- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems that are mechanical, pneumatic, electrical or involve instrumentation and calibration components.
- Support process improvement initiatives through leading scoping, implementation and supporting all other aspects of projects.
- Support investigations into Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Install modifications, improvements and upgrades that are mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic to equipment.
- Recommend and perform preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment.
- Partner with process engineers to develop technical documentation and to communicate with vendors on projects
What You Need for this Position- Minimum 2-year Associates Degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 10 years experience in a manufacturing / fabrication environment (preferably an automated equipment environment)
- Prior manufacturing experience; this may or may not include experience with roll to roll, thin film coating and robotic equipment, in the semiconductor or optics/photonics industries.
- Experience working within quality management systems and ISO 9001 environments a plus
