Sr. Engineer - Software will work as a senior member of a software development team, responsible for the development, implementation and post deployment support of enterprise applications.
In this role, the Sr. Engineer - Software will work independently or with minimal input from the Development Manager. As a member of the team, the Sr. Engineer - Software will participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Sr. Engineer - Software will be responsible for mentoring junior members of the team, provide them guidance, and support in completing their assignments.
Responsibilities / Tasks:
Perform configuration and scripting development in Siebel Tools for new enhancements and projects.
Perform integration development for Siebel interfaces to enterprise applications.
Create & maintain all documentation regarding Siebel environments.
Consult on requirements elicitation and definition.
Design software solutions per systems requirements.
Code software solutions per designs.
Code reviews, unit test, and integrate coded modules.
Assist other developers in resolving issues by providing guidance and training.
Support testing and remediate defects.
Support users through troubleshooting and analysis of production logs and data.
Investigate new solutions, tools, products, and techniques to incorporate into coding standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience in configuring the Siebel Customer Relationship Management (CRM) product
4 years of related experience; experience in Analysis, Design, Development and integration of complex applications, working knowledge in all phases of software development lifecycle
Knowledge of Siebel SOAP Structure, import/exporting WSDLs, XSDs, XMLs
Expertise in Siebel Workflows or Business Process Automation, Workflow Error Handling, Exception Handling
Expertise in enhancing web templates, JS, CSS files, Physical Model and Physical Renderer for Siebel Open UI
Expertise in Siebel Scripting
Expertise in Creating/Design Siebel Integration Object Structures
Expertise in working with various EAI Business Services
Understanding/Hands On with various Siebel Adapters preferred
Knowledge/Expertise with modifying Integration Keys, Table keys, IC Hierarchies, Synchronizing IO objects preferred
Knowledge/Expertise in Siebel CTI preferred
Proficiency with state healthcare programs (e.g., Medicaid, CHIP) and related functions (e.g., enrollment management, eligibility determination) preferred
Team player with excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skills
Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline oriented work environment
Ability to successfully execute multiple complex tasks simultaneously
Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
Educational Requirements and/or Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. Requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience.
